Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Duration: at least 3 months, then maintenance
This routine is not a treatment. It is cosmetic care for scalp and hair that you can use alongside medical treatment after consulting your doctor. The products are cosmetics and have no effect on the condition itself.
Patchy hair loss causes sudden round bald patches. It is caused by a misdirected immune response against the hair roots; diagnosis and treatment belong with a dermatologist. The following cosmetic routine does not replace treatment – it cares for scalp and hair alongside it, after consulting your doctor.
Use only after consulting your doctor and alongside your treatment. Stop using in case of irritation.

Peeling
Once a week, apply to dry or damp scalp, massage in, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

3.1 Dixidox de Luxe Intense Shampooor 2.1 Dixidox de Luxe Antidandruff Shampoo
Massage in gently until it lathers, leave on briefly and rinse. Alternate between the shampoos.

3.4.5B Science-7 de Luxe Essential Oils 35 ml
Apply about 15 drops directly to the scalp and massage gently. Do not rinse. Every evening; do not use during pregnancy.

Apply 2–3 pipettes to the affected areas every morning. For at least 3 months.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find the right routine?
Choose the concern that bothers you most. Each routine lists the products, the order, how often and for how long, based on the recommendations of the manufacturer DSD de Luxe. If several concerns come together, write to us – we will put together a routine for you.
How long should I follow a routine?
Hair grows slowly, about one centimetre a month. The manufacturer therefore recommends using most routines regularly for at least 3 months before judging the result. Many routines are followed by maintenance care.
What do Phase 1 and Phase 2 mean?
Some routines consist of two stages of about 3 months each, one after the other. You start with the Phase 1 product; you will only need the Phase 2 product later. That is why “Add routine to cart” only adds the products you need to start.
How often is the scalp peeling used?
In the routines, peeling 1.3 is used once a week: apply to the dry or damp scalp, massage in, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Then continue with the routine’s shampoo.
Can I combine products from different routines?
The products in a routine are designed to work together. If you would like to add products from another routine, we are happy to advise you so that your care stays simple and well tolerated.
Can I use the products during pregnancy?
Essential oil 3.4.5B should not be used during pregnancy. For all other products, please consult your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do the routines replace medical treatment?
No. The products are cosmetics, not medicines. With sudden or severe hair loss, bald patches, redness or pain, please have the cause checked by a dermatologist first. The routines under “Accompanying care” are intended only as cosmetic care alongside medical treatment.
